We got a great informative review of our King’s Kush at Culture!  King Kush New Review of Our King’s KushAmong the reviewer’s experience with our King’s Kush were these observations:

O.G. Kush is a familiar sight for most patients, but most won’t recognize the results when crossed with Grape Ape.

Instead of the characteristically small buds that both of those cuts are known for, the sample we found at Total Health Concepts in Colorado Springs and Denver was one massive, indigo nug.

This strain is best for when the candles are lit in your chambers, as these two powerhouse indicas aren’t the ones to turn to when you’ve got company over. King’s Kush is great for deep muscle and nerve pain, as well as muscle issues and joints.

Studies Show Marijuana May be Possible Cure for Different Forms of Cancer

Medical Marijuana has been known to not only alleviate various disorders ranging from AIDS to Muscular Dystrophy; new studies are showing possibilities of marijuana curing different forms of Cancer.

“After more than 70 years of misinformation about this botanical remedy, I am delighted that we are finally gaining a mature understanding of its immense therapeutic potential.”-Andrew Weil

“But perhaps most exciting, cannabinoids ( chemical constituents of Cannabis, the best known being tetrahydrocannabinol or THC ) may have a primary role in cancer treatment and prevention.  A number of studies have shown that these compounds can inhibit tumor growth in laboratory animal models.  In part, this is achieved by inhibiting angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels that tumors need in order to grow.  What’s more, cannabinoids seem to kill tumor cells without affecting surrounding normal cells.  If these findings hold true as research progresses, cannabinoids would demonstrate a huge advantage over conventional chemotherapy agents, which too often destroy normal cells as well as cancer cells.”-Andrew Weil

Research Shows Medical Marijuana Relieves Chronic Nerve Pain

Now that the research is finally being done, it is becoming well established that Medical Marijuana has very real medical benefits.  A recent study published in the journal of the Canadian Medical Association provided the  following findings.

Three puffs a day of cannabis, better known as marijuana, helps people with chronic nerve pain due to injury or surgery feel less pain and sleep better, a Canadian team has found.

“It’s been known anecdotally,” says researcher Mark Ware, MD, assistant professor of anesthesia and family medicine at McGill University in Montreal. “About 10% to 15% of patients attending a chronic pain clinic use cannabis as part of their pain [control] strategy,” he tells WebMD.

But Ware’s study is more scientific — a clinical trial in which his team compared placebo with three different doses of cannabis. The research is published in CMAJ, the Canadian Medical Association Journal.

In Colorado “Medical Marijuana Centers” are the same as “Medical Marijuana Dispensaries”.

When it comes to medical marijuana in Colorado there has been a little confusion over the differences between what we used to call “dispensaries” and what we now refer to as “centers”.  Be assured there is effectively to our client no difference.  The reason for the shift from dispensaries to centers in Colorado is simply a matter of adhering to a change in state law regulating the sale of medical marijuana.

Changes in the law require us to now refer to the old dispensaries and dispensary as centers and center.  But in terms of service, our medical marijuana centers in Denver and Colorado Springs will still provide you medicine you have come to expect at the prices you can afford.
